Highlights to be proud of:
Andean Highlands, Ecuador
This year, Ecolfowers added an outreach program aimed at helping the farmers in the Andean Highlands of Ecuador finance the purchase of flower seeds. Ecoflowers financed 100% of the seeds empowering these farmers to grow an exportable crop and make a fair livable return, all while preserving the local ecosystem.
Andean Highlands, Ecuador & Colombia
In 2010, Ecoflowers will expand their outreach program to include a no interest loan to finance the cost of certification. This program will further ensure the economic and environmental sustainability within the region.
